ABOUT

My name is Mariana O'Brien and I am a NYU nursing student pursuing a RN degree and eventually a double masters as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). Justice based birth is extremely important to me, and working to eradicate race based discrepancies in healthcare is my ultimate goal as a birth worker. I aim to serve every kind of parent regardless of age, sexuality, culture, gender, religion, or socioeconomic situation.

I am originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts and moved to NYC in the summer of 2019. I love reading, visiting new parks, journaling, playing the saxophone, and anything to do with nature!
